Holistic Korean practice that combines slow, intentional movement, deep abdominal breathing, and meditation to help manage stress, lift low mood, and support mental resilience. By reconnecting breath, body, and mind, SunDo offers a natural way to restore emotional balance, build inner calm, and regain physical and mental strength.
We practice deep abdominal breathing to build energy, focus, and inner calm.
We follow natural rhythms to feel grounded, centered, and alive.
Through still postures and gentle movement, we restore harmony in body and mind.
We share an ancient path of health and self-discovery—made for modern life.
The warm-up (about 16 minutes) activates the body’s vital Qi energy through dynamic stretches. Practiced at a brisk pace, it loosens joints, stimulates acupressure points, and warms up all major muscle groups. This prepares the body for deep breathing meditation and helps the abdomen relax for smoother, deeper breaths.
In SunDo, deep abdominal breathing is practiced in specific postures to gather Qi (life energy) and strengthen the body’s core. This 40-minute session is guided by a sung mantra, helping maintain a steady, focused rhythm.
This part of the practice is used to utilize the Qi collected during the main breathing of the 2nd part. During a series of exercises, the qi is distributed to all parts of the body (about 12 minutes).
We also distribute the energy to the internal organs to stimulate and strengthen their functions. Exercises are performed by pair: the kidney and the bladder, the heart and the small intestine, the liver and the gallbladder, the lungs and the large intestine and finally, the spleen and the stomach (about 5 min).
To end the practice, for an easy transition to the day-to-day life, a few fitness exercises are included – head stand, push-ups and sit-ups (approx. 5 min).

No. SunDo is beginner-friendly. Our classes and materials guide you step by step, starting with gentle breathing and basic postures.
Yes! We offer online classes and the SunDo Starter Pack to help you build your own home practice with expert guidance.
We recommend starting with 2–3 short sessions per week. Regular, consistent practice is more effective than long but infrequent sessions.
Just comfortable clothes, a quiet space, and the willingness to breathe and move mindfully. You can also use our beginner posture set and warm-up videos.
While both support mind-body health, SunDo focuses more on deep breathwork, internal energy flow (Qi), and stillness. It's less about stretching and more about building inner strength, calm, and vitality.
